I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Accounting, Finance, Economics, and Decision Sciences at Western Illinois University.

My primary research field is Behavioral Economics, and I also maintain research interests in Development Economics. I specialize in social
preferences, information acquisition, motivated reasoning, coordination, conflict, group identity, group formation, property rights, and rural issues, with a focus on the usage of experimental methods.
​
Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Economics at Baylor University.
